CVE-2022-23223Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Password disclosure via dashboardUser response serialization

Published Jan 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Credential exposure in Apache ShenYu 2.4.0 through 2.4.1 allows remote attackers to read every user's password over HTTP. The unauthenticated dashboardUser pagination endpoint serializes DashboardUserVO records without excluding the password field, so its response returns credential values for every listed account. No account is required; access to the ShenYu Admin HTTP interface is enough to obtain the passwords, with no reported data modification or service interruption.
