Local sensitive-memory disclosure
Published Feb 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 25.4.3 and earlier and 26.0.2 and earlier allows local users to disclose sensitive memory. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the bounds-checking error that reads beyond its allocated buffer when processing a crafted file. Exploitation requires a user to open a malicious file; the disclosed memory can aid ASLR bypass, with no reported write or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
