Memory disclosure via post-buffer memory access
Published Feb 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 25.4.3 and earlier and 26.0.2 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory via a crafted file. Illustrator accesses memory after the end of an allocated buffer while processing attacker-controlled file data, exposing adjacent process memory. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file; the disclosure can reveal data used to weaken ASLR, with no reported code execution or data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
