Account enumeration via password-reset response discrepancy
Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
User enumeration in Priority Software Priority ERP before 22.0 allows remote authenticated users to identify valid accounts via password reset. The password-recovery flow returns a password-reset-email confirmation only when the supplied username exists, creating an account-validity oracle. Access to the recovery interface and a low-privilege account are required; the record establishes account discovery, not password reset or account access.
