Client-side code execution via reflected helpPageName
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in SysAid On-Premises 22.1.63 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute client-side code through Offline Help. /help/treecontent.jsp places the helpPageName parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing script-capable input. Offline Help Pages must be exposed and a victim must open a crafted link; the script runs in that victim's session and can read data or perform permitted actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=22.1.63 on premise version <=22.1.63
