Improper permission handling in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.0 through 9.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to write read-only files. The flaw affects SMB access to SyncIQ target directories and fails to enforce configured read-only file permissions. Low-privilege network access to an affected SMB share is required, and the resulting access permits protected-file modification.
