CVE-2022-23155Network attack vector

Admin RCE via unrestricted file upload

Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Dell Wyse Management Suite 2.0 through 3.5.2 allows remote authenticated admin users to execute arbitrary code. The upload handler accepts files of dangerous types without adequate restriction, allowing attacker-controlled content to reach server-side execution. Exploitation requires an administrative account and network access to the WMS management service; successful execution can compromise the server's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
