Stack-based buffer overflow in Netatalk 3.0.0 through 3.1.12 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. The setfilparams function copies user-supplied data into a fixed-length stack buffer without first validating its length. A crafted unauthenticated AFP request can therefore corrupt the stack and execute code with root privileges.
