File-name disclosure via path traversal validation
Published Jan 12, 2022 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
Path traversal in Jenkins Publish Over SSH Plugin 1.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to discover controller file names. A job-configuration file-name validation check accepts traversal sequences and reports whether the referenced controller-side name exists. Item/Configure permission is required, and the oracle reveals names only; the advisory does not report reading file contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
