Improper credential masking in Jenkins HashiCorp Vault Plugin 3.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to expose Vault credentials via Pipeline logs and step descriptions. The plugin fails to mark Vault-backed variables as sensitive for Pipeline: Groovy Plugin 2.85 or later, leaving command output and step metadata unredacted. Access requires permission to run or control a Pipeline that uses the plugin; the consequence is disclosure of the referenced Vault credentials without integrity or availability impact.
