Out-of-bounds read in ConnMan 1.40 and earlier allows remote attackers controlling a DNS server to disclose heap data or interrupt service. The TCP reply path in dnsproxy.c accepts a four-byte response, then forward_dns_reply() treats the two-byte request ID as a complete DNS header and reads beyond the heap buffer. Reachability requires ConnMan's internal DNS proxy and a malicious upstream DNS server, or the ability to spoof replies; integrity impact is not reported.
