CVE-2022-23063Network attack vector

Account access persistence via unrevoked session tokens

Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Insufficient session expiration in Shopizer 2.3.0 through 3.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to retain access after a password change. Password-change paths update the stored customer password, but existing JSON Web Tokens remain accepted by protected API endpoints instead of being invalidated. A previously issued customer session token is required, allowing continued use of that account after the user or an administrator changes its password.
