Superadmin deletion via unchecked user identifier
Published May 1, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Authorization bypass in Shopizer 2.0 through 2.17.0 allows remote authenticated users with regular-admin access to delete a superadmin. The administrative user-deletion handler accepts a user-controlled userId and deletes the referenced account without rejecting a superadmin target. Network access to the admin interface and a regular administrator account are required; exploitation permanently removes the targeted superadmin account and prevents its login.
