CVE-2022-23059Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsanitized SVG upload

Published Mar 29, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Stored XSS in Shopizer 2.0 through 2.17.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser. The Manage Images upload path accepts an SVG containing active script and stores it for later delivery without neutralizing the JavaScript. Administrative image-upload access and a victim viewing the stored SVG are required; successful exploitation can read or alter browser-accessible data.
