CVE-2022-23046Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure and modification via raw subnet query

Published Jan 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

SQL injection in phpIPAM 1.4.4 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read and modify database data. The BGP subnet-mapping search appends the untrusted subnet parameter directly to a SQL query, while 1.4.5 uses placeholders and bound values. Exploitation requires the routing module to be enabled and an administrator session, and it can expose stored user email addresses and password hashes or alter database records.
