Admin command execution via permitted PHAR uploads
Published Feb 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Tribal Systems Zenario CMS 9.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute server commands via a PHAR file. The custom File/MIME Types configuration accepts phar as a permitted extension, while the upload path stores the file at a public URL without classifying PHAR as executable. Administrator access is required to register the type and publish the upload, after which requests to the file execute commands under the web server account.
