Resource consumption in F5 BIG-IP VE allows remote attackers to degrade availability through increased CPU use from undisclosed requests. F5 has not published the request format or code path that mishandles it; the disclosed operation raises processor utilization. Exposure requires 16.1.x before 16.1.2, 15.1.x before 15.1.4.1, 14.1.x before 14.1.4.5, or any 13.1.x release, plus the ixlv driver in SR-IOV mode on an Intel X710, XL710, or XXV710 adapter with TCP Segmentation Offload enabled.
