Unrestricted file upload in F5 BIG-IP ASM and Advanced WAF allows remote authenticated users to consume disk space through a REST endpoint. The undisclosed REST endpoint stores attacker-supplied upload data and increases disk utilization, but F5 has not published its path or implementation. Guest-level access is sufficient in 16.1.x before 16.1.2, 15.1.x before 15.1.4.1, 14.1.x before 14.1.4.5, and all 13.1.x and 12.1.x releases; the established consequence is storage consumption rather than a documented crash or outage.
