Memory exhaustion via undisclosed Diameter traffic

Improper input validation in F5 BIG-IP allows remote attackers to exhaust memory through traffic sent to a Diameter message-routing virtual server. Within TMM, undisclosed Diameter traffic is processed without adequate validation, causing memory utilization to increase; F5 has not published the traffic pattern or exact faulty operation. Exposure requires both Diameter Session and Router Profiles on the virtual server, and the bounded reported consequence is service interruption from memory exhaustion.
