Stored cross-site scripting in Western Digital MyCloud OS 5 before 5.23.114 allows remote authenticated users to hijack browser sessions. The USB Backups app renders attacker-controlled backup-drive content into the dashboard without output sanitization, allowing injected JavaScript execution. Exploitation requires elevated access to backed-up drives and an authenticated user to view the affected page; the script can steal data, modify settings, or redirect the browser.
