OS command injection in Western Digital My Cloud OS 5 before 5.19.117 allows remote attackers on the same LAN to execute code as root. ConnectivityService passes a user-supplied string to a system call without proper validation after DNS spoofing redirects an unsecured HTTP connectivity check. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and no authentication; successful attacks gain root-context code execution on the NAS.
