Denial of service in Spring Framework before 5.3.20 or 5.2.22 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted multipart uploads. Spring MVC or WebFlux data binding assigns an incoming MultipartFile or javax.servlet.Part to a model field without limiting resource use, allowing repeated multipart requests to exhaust application resources. Exploitation requires an upload endpoint that relies on this model binding; the documented impact is service interruption without data disclosure or modification.
