OS command injection in VMware Carbon Black App Control allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on its Windows server. The administration interface passes improperly validated input to an OS command, but VMware has not identified the affected endpoint or parameter. High privileges and network access to that interface are required; affected versions are 8.5.x before 8.5.14, 8.6.x before 8.6.6, 8.7.x before 8.7.4, and 8.8.x before 8.8.2.
