Local privilege escalation via stale file descriptor

Use-after-free in the vmwgfx driver in VMware Photon OS 3.0 and 4.0 allows local users to access files opened by other processes. A failed fence usercopy leaves an installed file-table entry referring to a freed file object because fd_install runs before the copy succeeds. Exploitation requires a loaded vmwgfx driver, access to /dev/dri/card0 or /dev/dri/rendererD128, and permission to issue ioctls, enabling file access and privilege escalation.
