Remote code execution via persisted room-name injection
Published Mar 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Code injection in HotelDruid 3.0.3 allows attackers with room-creation privileges to execute server-side commands through a crafted name. The Create New Room workflow stores that name inside a double-quoted PHP string in /dati/selectappartamenti.php, where PHP evaluates an embedded expression. The exploit requires access to add a room; deployments exposing the dashboard without authentication also expose the same execution path.
