Memory corruption via stale diff pointer

Use-after-free in Vim before 9.0 allows local users to crash the editor or corrupt memory by applying a diff put operation. The ex_diffgetput function calls mark_adjust, which can remove the current diff block, then continues through the stale dp pointer without checking that it remains linked. Triggering requires local interaction with Vim and a diff put command; the grounded consequence is invalid memory access that can crash the editor, with no public proof of code execution.
