Authenticated file creation via PUT path traversal

Path traversal in CoreFTP Server before 727 allows remote authenticated users to create files outside the intended directory via HTTP PUT. HTTP PUT path handling accepts ../ segments and resolves the requested destination without containing it within the intended upload directory. Valid server credentials are required; the bounded result is creation of attacker-controlled files outside that directory.
