Administrator takeover via unrestricted credential guessing
Published Feb 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper login throttling in spaceLYnk, Wiser for KNX, and fellerLYnk 2.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over admin accounts. The login service fails to rate-limit repeated credential guesses, but Schneider Electric has not disclosed the affected endpoint or implementation. Network access to the login interface and a successfully guessed administrator password are required; the resulting access permits unauthorized administration.
