Phishing redirects via unvalidated redirectURL parameter
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Open redirect in SysAid On-Premises 22.1.63 and earlier allows remote attackers to route users to attacker-chosen sites. The CommunitySSORedirect.jsp endpoint accepts the redirectURL query parameter and sends the browser to that value without validating the destination. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link, enabling phishing or credential theft rather than direct server compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
