CVE-2022-22795

Privileged file disclosure via external DTD processing

Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

XXE in Signiant Manager+Agents 13.5.0, 14.0.0, 14.1.0, and 15.0.0 allows attackers to read privileged files via crafted XML. The XML parser accepts an external DTD without validation and resolves attacker-controlled entity references as local files. The CNA assessment requires physical access, high privileges, and user interaction; exposed files inherit the service's root or NT AUTHORITY access.
