Code execution via uncontrolled DLL search path
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
DLL injection in the Zoom Opener installer before 5.10.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on a victim's host. The installer searches for a DLL without constraining its load path, allowing an attacker-supplied library to be loaded. Exploitation requires a user without the client installed to download and run the Opener from the Launch Meeting page, after which the injected code runs on that host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
