Uncontrolled resource consumption in Zoom Client for Meetings allows remote attackers to exhaust host resources through crafted chat content. The chat functionality processes a highly compressed payload whose expansion consumes unbounded client-host resources; Zoom has not published a finer-grained code locus. A recipient must interact with the crafted content, and the reported consequence is client-host availability loss without confidentiality or integrity impact.
