Data alteration and service interruption via XXE
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
XXE in TIBCO Managed File Transfer 8.3.1 and earlier, 8.4.0, and 8.4.1 allows remote attackers to process external entities. The DOM and SAX XML parsers resolve attacker-supplied external entity declarations instead of rejecting them. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can alter data or interrupt the service without reported data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
