CVE-2022-2277Network attack vector

Service interruption via unvalidated future ICCP timestamps

Published Sep 14, 2022 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Improper input validation in MicroSCADA X SYS600 10.2 through 10.3.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service over ICCP. During ICCP connection establishment, the stack accepts data-item update timestamps too distant in the future and forwards them without validating the time quantity. The ICCP feature must be configured and enabled, which is not the default; exploitation can make the SYS600 service unavailable.
