CVE-2022-22766

Sensitive-data access via hard-coded credentials

Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Use of hard-coded credentials in BD Pyxis products of all versions allows local users to access the underlying file system. BD-managed credentials embedded in the devices expose application files whose contents can be used to decrypt application credentials. Exploitation requires obtaining the credentials, infiltrating the facility network, and reaching an individual device; exposed data includes ePHI and other sensitive information.
