Persistent JavaScript execution via uncanceled XSL loads

Improper resource handling in Mozilla Firefox before 97 allows remote attackers to keep same-origin JavaScript running after tab closure. The XSLT processor allowed a transform to start new network loads after its load group was canceled, leaving recursive script execution alive. A user must open attacker-served XSL content; the code remains confined to the document's origin but can track activity, consume computing resources, or generate traffic.
