Credential disclosure via cleartext installer logging
Published Jan 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Sensitive-data exposure in Stormshield SSO Agent 2.x before 2.1.1 and 3.x before 3.0.2 allows local users to read credentials. The Windows .exe installer writes the SSO user password and pre-shared key in cleartext to the generated install log. Local access to the installer directory is required; logging is enabled by default before 2.1.0 and requires a command-line option after 3.0.0.
