CVE-2022-22701Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via attachment URL dereference

Published Jan 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Local file inclusion in PartKeepr 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files through part attachments. The add-part attachment workflow accepts a user-supplied URL and dereferences file URIs without restricting the scheme, turning local paths into downloadable attachments. Any account permitted to create parts and add attachments can retrieve files readable by the web-server process; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
