Host header poisoning in Umbraco CMS before 9.2.0 allows remote attackers to persistently redirect generated application URLs. When UmbracoApplicationUrl is unset, GetApplicationUrlFromCurrentRequest trusts request.Host and EnsureApplicationMainUrl caches the resulting URI. IIS bindings that accept arbitrary hostnames expose the flaw; poisoned password-reset links can send tokens to an attacker-controlled server and enable account takeover.
