Privileged CSV formula injection to code execution
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSV injection in CA Harvest Software Change Manager versions 13.0.3, 13.0.4, 14.0.0, and 14.0.1 allows privileged users to execute code. Exported package, form, or version names beginning with =, -, +, or @ are written into CSV without neutralization, so opening the file in a spreadsheet can execute a program. The attack requires a privileged user and a victim opening the generated CSV; impact can include arbitrary command execution on that workstation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
