OS command injection in Synology DiskStation Manager before 6.2.4-25553 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The task management component fails to neutralize special elements before constructing an OS command, but Synology has not identified the affected request or code path. A high-privileged DSM account is required; successful exploitation runs commands with the task service's privileges and can read, alter, or interrupt NAS data and services.
