Code execution via stale access-key object
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated May 22, 2025
Use-after-free in WebKit in Apple Safari before 15.4, tvOS before 15.4, and watchOS before 8.5 allows remote attackers to execute code. WebKit's access-key event path can invoke script that invalidates an element, then continue dispatching or focusing through the stale object. A user must process attacker-controlled web content; successful exploitation executes code in the affected WebKit content-processing context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
