Remote code execution via WebKit use-after-free
Published Mar 18, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Use-after-free in WebKit in Apple Safari before 15.3 and macOS Monterey before 12.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted web content. WebKit accesses memory after its object has been freed while processing attacker-controlled page content, allowing control of execution. A victim must load the crafted content; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code in the affected browser or WebKit process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
