Audit attribution bypass via passwd metadata omission

Audit record omission in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.x through 9.2.x allows local users with high privileges to conceal account-change sources. When account information changes are written to /etc/master.passwd, OneFS omits security-relevant metadata that identifies the change source. High privileges and local access are required, and the bounded consequence is loss of trustworthy attribution for account modifications rather than disclosure or service interruption.
