Improper authentication-attempt restriction in Dell PowerScale OneFS 8.2.x through 9.3.0.x allows remote attackers to compromise accounts. Dell does not identify the affected authentication interface or code locus; the disclosed failure is inadequate restriction of excessive login attempts. Reachability of an authentication service is required, and repeated unauthenticated attempts can result in unauthorized account access.
