Unauthenticated request smuggling via HTTP request concatenation

Published Feb 9, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Request smuggling in SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Content Server 7.53, and SAP NetWeaver platforms allows remote attackers to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability via crafted HTTP requests. Internet Communication Manager request parsing accepts attacker-prepended data, causing request concatenation that can impersonate a victim request or poison intermediary caches. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can reach complete system compromise.
