Sensitive-data exposure via unencoded URL parameters
Published Feb 9, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in SAP NetWeaver 700 through 756 allows remote attackers to expose sensitive data through crafted URLs. The BC-CCM-PRN-PC component places attacker-controlled URL parameters into generated pages without proper output encoding. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted link; injected browser code can expose identifiers or passwords in that user context.
