CVE-2022-22529Network attack vector

Stored XSS via insufficient UI output encoding

Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Stored XSS in SAP Enterprise Threat Detection 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser via crafted input. The ETD user interfaces insufficiently encode stored user-controlled input before reflecting it, so a browser interprets the input as active content. Exploitation requires another user to view the stored value; the documented impact is limited to reading or changing data in that user's web context.
