Null pointer dereference in CODESYS PROFINET 4.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt CODESYS Control via crafted SNMP requests. The integrated SNMP server on UDP port 161 dereferences a null pointer while processing specific requests in generated PROFINET stack code. Exposure requires a project containing a PROFINET Controller or PROFINET Device whose protocol stack has been downloaded to a CODESYS Control runtime.
