Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Robotic Process Automation 21.0.1 and 21.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to expose credentials. Published records state that a user can embed arbitrary JavaScript in the Web UI, but IBM has not identified the affected field, endpoint, or code path. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and interaction by another user in a trusted session, where the injected script can alter displayed behavior and disclose credentials.
